Testimonial:"I contacted Dyslexia4Adults because I was struggling with some specific issues at work and a friend suggested that they might be related to dyslexia.  They rang me within an hour of my tentative email of enquiry, and he was so kind, thoughtful and understanding that I felt confident proceeding with a diagnostic assessment.

My consultation and follow-up conversation were characterised by the same level of kindness, thoughtfulness and understanding. The entire process was professional but caring and individual, and the result was realistic but helpful and hopeful.

I highly recommend Dyslexia4Adults to anyone who is struggling with issues which might be related to dyslexia - especially, perhaps, if they feel embarrassed or stupid asking the question - because they will be in very good hands."

Awareness and Identification
 Identifying Dyslexia
Since 1998, our Educational Psychologists have specialised in identifying  Dyslexia and Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) such as Dyspraxia in Students and Adults
You may always have wondered about your difficulties...

... or you may just have realised that they could be dyslexia...

Either way, please look at the  Dyslexia4Adults Checklist below to see if any of the features and indicators of Dyslexia and related SpLDs strike a chord with you.
Some may surprise you!

You can see from the Checklist that Dyslexia (and related Specific Learning Differences) aren't only about Literacy,  Spelling, Reading and Handwriting.

Family History, Birth, Early Development,

Speech and Language,

Ears and Eyes...

Co-ordination and Memory,

Attention and Concentration,

Maths, Visual Stress and more are just as relevant!

Post-Assessment Mentoring

Assessment and Diagnosis are significant and you may want to talk about them to people who understand. You may even want to let off steam...
Experience gained from over 20,000 diagnostic assessments has shown us how positive the assessment process is, but that you will have all sorts of questions as you try to understand the implications.

If you have any queries, please email us at dyslexia4adults@gmail.com

Whether you've just found out you're dyslexic or you had your assessment a while ago, it may be helpful for you to talk through your history, the identification process, your test results, strategies and the best way forward for you.

Mentoring can either answer your specific questions or  follow the D4A Framework of:

  1. Your Results and Report
  2. Make sense of your Past
  3. Present - What works Now
  4. Future - A Plan & Strategies

The more you understand about your profile and the implications, the better.

D4A Mentoring will allow you to talk freely with someone who understands the impact of Dyslexia, particularly before and after diagnosis, on life, study, work and well-being.

Fees are £50 +vat (£60) per session or £150 +vat (£180) for the complete 4-part D4A Post ID Framework
